I have always admired Selena Gomez’s elegant red carpet style that when I saw these photos, it totally caught me by surprise.

Personally, I don’t think she’s a fashion victim, but the outfit does look a little off. Don’t get me wrong, the dress isn’t bad and those metallic red and silver gladiator sandals are stunning but the two don’t seem to work together.

You know how some things are meant to be? Like they complement? Well, this combo isn’t one of them.

Again, the sandals are quite pretty. It got me quite interested that I went looking for it online. I tried and tried and tried to ID it, but couldn’t find any information on it. I think it would look better with a dress that’s more body skimming though; something sexy rather than the girly and flouncy balloon dress she wore it with.

Actress Jessica Alba was spotted with an interesting pair of sandals last week; the pair had zebra printed cuffs on it.  She mixed it with a neutral and casual outfit that looked really comfy to wear.

I just thought it would be interesting to start a small battle today, one between the high and the low; a showdown between Tory Burch and the ever affordable Roxy. Check out what these two have in common:

With such a classic design, doesn’t it make you wonder who created it first? Of course, it’s so much easier to assume Tory Burch came out with it way ahead of Roxy. But you know what? We will never truly know.

That aside, it’s amazing how these two look so much alike.  If we discount the fact that the Tory Burch pair is made from real leather while the Roxy is made from a synthetic one, and if we look over the huge price difference between the two (with Roxy costing only 10% of the Burch sandals), which pair would you go for?
